This is a ‘singspiration’, a gathering of the community in mourning, after the funeral of a loved one, in this case of an 8 month old little girl, who I had the honor of officiating at her funeral in the village of Atqasuk. Keep the family and community in your prayers. The singing of hymns together as a group or alone raises the spirits of the community. It is truly an inspiring sight.
